Thanks to the partnership with Feeding South Dakota and the generosity of our donors, our monthly food pantry helps meet the basic nutritional needs of our community. Each month, we distribute essential food items — including bread, milk, eggs, pasta, rice, lima beans, and more — to over 60 families and 325 individuals.
By helping to ease food insecurity, we’re nourishing not only bodies but also hope, stability, and a stronger sense of community.
We are proud to support the students of Little Eagle Grant School (Grades K–8) by providing essential school supplies, classroom materials, backpacks, and library books. In addition, we help equip their athletic programs — including archery, basketball, and volleyball — ensuring students have access to enriching extracurricular activities.
At Running Antelope Head Start, we provide school and classroom supplies, clothing for their clothes closet, and additional learning materials that help young children thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our goal is to foster learning, confidence, and community by ensuring every child has the tools they need to succeed — both in and out of the classroom.
In the harsh winter climate of Little Eagle, a warm coat, sturdy boots, or a pair of gloves can make a world of difference. We work to ensure that every member of the community — from children to adults — has access to essential cold-weather gear.
There is a critical and ongoing need for winter coats and boots, especially in plus sizes for women and men. These sizes are often under-donated, making the purchase of new items vital.
We also provide hats, coats, gloves, and socks to children and youth at Running Antelope Head Start and Little Eagle Grant School — helping them stay safe, warm, and ready to learn even in freezing temperatures.
In 2025, we are expanding our efforts to include support for propane purchases — helping vulnerable households stay warm and safe during the coldest months of the year.
Your support helps bring comfort, dignity, and warmth to our neighbors in need.
For the past four years, our community has come together to bring joy, comfort, and essential support to children and elders in Little Eagle. Each holiday season, we distribute over 300 $50 gift cards and more than 200 stockings filled with toys, treats, art and school supplies, hygiene products, and cold-weather essentials for children and youth.
Together, we’re not just delivering gifts — we’re delivering care, dignity, and hope.
